SHOUT OUT:

  • Thanks to Doug’s Bikes for some great prizes and bringing out some Salsa Fat Bikes to crush the hill, and for helping capture the day!
  • Thank you Slake for the driveway (year after year) and the perfect hill-top hangout!
  • VisitTheCounty — their support through the Community Partnership Fund let us step up the stickers, signage and invite Cat Named Earl to play for everyone.
  • Starboard Sauna, who hopped on board a week before the event to offer a cozy way to cap off the ride.
  • Rebel Taco: always legendary. 🌮✨🌮✨🌮
  • Cat Named Earl: put on a great show for everyone! 🐈 🎸 ✨

The knockout challenge was a blast to watch. The matchups were tight, the races were close, and the crowd got a show. Big thanks to Derek and the pit crew for handling the mechanical that threw a wrench in the final. We sense a rivalry next year!

You helped turn a quiet driveway into a small stadium for an hour. That’s the magic of the Slake Snake. Laura and I put in a lot of our time, and ask a lot of our partners, so when you show up, it makes it all worth it! We’ll be back next year. Hope you will be too.

— Adam (and Laura)
